OCRA LITERARY SOURCES ON OCRA
The geographic name of Ocra was used by Greek and Roman writers from the late Republican and early Imperial period to denote the point at which the Julian Alps met with the Dinaric Mountains. The name was used to mark various geographic features: the pass, the mountain and the settlement.
