Abstract

This chapter introduces results of archaeological research on the pile-dwelling settlement Stare gmajne, carried out by the Institute of Archaeology of the Scientific Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts (ZRC SAZU) between 1995 and 2007. We present horizontal and vertical stratigraphy, archaeological finds and a typological definition of pottery.
