One fascinating aspect of archaeozoological analyses is the possibility of recognizing past human activities. It is claimed that the associations and spatial patterning of animal bones and other organic refuse, architecture and artifactual rubbish may reflect certain behavioral patterns. Meticulous field documentation as well as easy access to all archaeological and scientific data from an excavated site is essential in such analyses.
